Les Deux Garçons – Une Journée Ordinaire

“ Une Journée Ordinaire ” (An Ordinary Day), three insignificant words that suggest a world of ideas… This is the title that Dutch artist duo «Les Deux Garçons» (Michel Vanderheijden van Tinteren & Roel Moonen) chose to introduce us, for the first time in Belgium, with their extraordinary art. They breathe new life, but also new meaning, into animals and/or objects they choose to resurrect. Fascinated by the fleeting and random aspects of our existence, by the subjectivity behind the notions of good and evil, they confront the beholder with their odd, yet beautiful, endearing, yet shocking sculptures.
