eth Carter is een beeldend kunstenaar uit Bristol, UK.
In haar sculpturen en tekeningen vermengt ze vaak de menselijke figuur met het dier, waardoor ze mythologische wezens en buitengewone fictieve composities creëert. 
“Werkend binnen het domein van een beeldhouwtraditie waar het symbolisch gebruik van dierlijke beelden een krachtige en voortdurende bron is, creëer ik allegorieën door, onder andere, de menselijke vorm te integreren met dierlijke vormen. De resulterende beeldtaal heeft zowel een tijdloze betekenis als een hedendaagse relevantie, ondanks en vanwege onze afscheiding van de natuurlijke wereld. Het is belangrijk voor mij dat mijn beeldhouwwerk en tekeningen toegankelijk zijn op een individueel niveau, maar ook meer archetypische thema’s bevatten die de menselijke ervaring gemeen heeft“.
Beth Carter wordt vertegenwoordigd door galeries in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, België en de Verenigde Staten en heeft werk in privécollecties in Europa, de VS, Canada, Zuid-Amerika, Azië en Australië en in de permanente collectie van het Musée d’Art Classique de Mougins, Frankrijk.
